Volunteering for Canticle Ministries

The role of the Canticle Ministries volunteer is vital! Without the contribution of our team of volunteers who support us with their time and talents, Canticle Ministries could not have been created, nor could it continue to function.

With our goal to meet each client where they are at, it is not surprising that our volunteer needs are as individual and varied as our clients.  One client may need assistance with English language training, while another may need a ride to their doctor’s appointment.  Volunteer opportunities may be ongoing such as serving as a mentor to a Transitional Housing client or one time events such as helping out with our annual Plant Sale.   But every task that our volunteers participate in, whether helping with a mailing, joining in client activities, organizing a special event, providing a holistic health therapy, or sitting on the Board of Directors – contributes to the creation of a supportive and healing environment for all our clients.  And it is a good bet that what ever your time frame and talents allow, there is someone at Canticle Ministries who would be thrilled to receive your help!
