What Your Donation to Canticle Ministries Can Mean to Those in Need:
- $20 can provide transportation so a person on limited income in Chicagoland and with AIDS-related limitations can attend a monthly support group.
- $60 can provide the resources for a month of mentoring for a person moving into his or her own apartment and envisioning a life of independence and health in spite of an HIV diagnosis
- $100 can provide the resources for a group of individuals living with HIV/AIDS to participate in a social activity that will build community and decrease isolation.
- $250 can provide tuition for a person living with HIV/AIDS who wants to go back to school to attend a community college course.
- $500 can assist a person living with HIV/AIDS to subsidize basic living needs (utilities, food) for one year so he or she can maintain independent living quarters
- $1000 can provide the resources for a to get the necessary job re-training in a safe environment, without fear of disclosing HIV status, so he or she can gain marketable skills
- $3000 can fund one year of a scholarship that allows a youth impacted with HIV to attend college and provide hope to all youth impacted by HIV that they too have a bright future
